engage and educate parents and families.

The Deltona Prevention Project, a collection of youth and family serving organizations right here in your community, asked what issues you think are affecting families in Deltona the most, and you answered.

  • You are looking for positive, supervised and affordable activities to engage your children outside of school hours.
  • You want to find events your family can enjoy.
  • You are looking for resources to help your children deal with things like bullying, peer pressure, violence, drug abuse and underage drinking.
  • You want to know what resources are available to help your family deal with causes of concern or issues affecting you today.
  • You want to connect with other parents, youth and families in Deltona.

The Deltona Prevention Project, is administered by One Voice for Volusia. One Voice for Volusia is a coalition that connects non-profit, governmental and community-based organizations along with local businesses to promote system and community improvements for the benefit of youth and families in Volusia County. Through research, consensus building and the coordination of resources, One Voice for Volusia takes a leadership role in improving the quality of life for youth and families.
